This pattern is inspired by my leaf embroidery project and previous embroidery projects encouraging a bit of stitching each day. Stitch the piece as charted or break it apart and 'rake up' the leaves that you want to use in other projects. Create borders, smalls, biscornu- the possibilities are endless. Backstitching is done to add detail, but if you prefer, you could leave it out or, just leave it off some leaves.
The cover model is shown on the sage green, but you could stitch on any count or colour you are drawn to. The leaves are charted with DMC, but there is lots of room to work in whatever threads you have on hand. Dig into that stash! Just dive into that leaf pile and play!
Finished stitch count 149w x 149h. All full stitches with backstitching detail.
